Cost To Own A Church’s Chicken

Ever wanted to own your own chicken franchise? Here’s what it will cost you to become the owner of a Church’s Chicken franchise.

First, are the qualifications. You need to have $650,000 in liquid assets. That means cash or stocks. Then you need a $1,500,000 net worth. Then you need to be able to buy 3 franchises. So take those numbers and multiply by 3.

Next are the fees. You will have a franchise fee of $15,000 per restaurant, and a $20,000 development fee per restaurant.

Royalties are 5% of gross sales and advertising fee is another 5%.

Total estimated cost for startup is going to be between $150,000 and $850,000 with a convenient store location being on the cheap end and a stand alone restaurant on the top end. A strip center location will be somewhere in the middle.
