We have all had those great ideas. Everyone has invented something in their head or at least thought they had a great idea. Good news is there’s easy ways to take your idea from just an idea, to an actual product. Bad news for would-be inveentors is there’s plenty of people who are trying to part you from your money along the way.

My main gripe is about those companies you see on TV such as Invent Help and Invent Tech.

What happens you you mail them some info about your idea, they all reply back and tell you how great your idea is and how they want to get started right away on your product. The fact is they will tell you your product is great no matter what your idea is. You idea could be a machine that converts dog shit and recycles it a candy bar. They will tell you “it’s a great idea”.

They they tell you you need to pay them $800 to get started. They just make some cheap drawing and such, and don’t do anything that offer your a real patent or patent protection.

If you have an idea for an invention, skip these gimmicks and just go talk to a patent attorney who will get you the patent that you reall need. They won’t be selling you patent kits that offer no real help.
