Depending on how many copies you want printed, will depend on what type of printing they will do for you. The more copies of your book that you wanted printed, the more you are going to save. Also keep in mind that after you start to get into a 1,000+ more copies, you can save more money by having your book printed in “offset” as opposed to having it printed digitally.

As far as prices for publishing your book, they are going to vary depending on how many copies you want printed and what size you want your book published. Typical prices for a 5.5″x8.5″ book with about 200 pages is going to cost about $10 per book starting at 25 books. Prices can quickly fall from there if you get more copies printed. If you get 1,000 copies printed, you can get that price down to around $3.00 per book.

My friend Rick published a book about firearms training and was selling it via ads in some magazine and he has a website that he just put up.
