Folks, it looks like Entrecard is dead already so I’m giving away 1500 credits for the funeral. How do I know it’s dead? All you have to do is look at the price to advertise. The price on the front page of the results used to be in the THOUSANDS. Now it’s in the hundreds. After the 2nd page of results, the price to advertise drops to 16 credits and 32 credits. You can advertise on hundreds of blogs for 16 credits all day long. I just bought 23 ads for 16 credits each. Just three or four months ago, those 16 credit ads would of cost 256 credits at least. Why has the price dropped? Because people are getting tired of wasting their freaking time dropping cards. The traffic it brings is total garbage. Who wants to waste dozens of hours dropping cards to bring garbage traffic? Not me, and it looks like nobody else does either. They don’t click ads and they don’t buy anything. So what good is it? It’s not. It’s worthless.
Today, I only got 1 card dropped on me. 1!!! I admit I don’t waste time dropping cards so that does not help, but then again I never really did. Just three months ago I was getting at least 100 dropped on me per day when I was not dropping. Now today? I GOT ONE! Entrecard sucks and is dead.
Sure I would drop a card here and there if I was browsing a blog and was bored. But other than that, no. Does that mean that the people that advertise on my blog got ripped off? NO. They actually got a really good deal. My blog gets decent traffic and the price for the ad slot was really low because I don’t drop cards. So those that advertised got a good deal.
So what’s the 1500 EC giveaway?

Entrecard sucks. They said that the market would sort itself out. I just saw 5000 ECs sold for $12.
There is a new promotion if you add a new blog and blog about EC you receive 2000 credits.

Yeah, it’s a sign that they are getting desperate and people are getting tired of dropping cards. Even the the people that go to Power Dropping Dot Com don’t drop anymore. I will give Entrecard another year before the website is down and gone.

ENTRECARD does suck. I can’t quite figure out what the point of it is except I guess that my blog is new and garbage traffic is better than none at all. Maybe. Actually I have receieved more traffic from paticipating in one little “comment carnival” put on by a blogger hosted blog then I have gotten from entrecard.
