in December 2002, a soon-to-be bride named Jennifer Nichols got the idea to start www.myweddingfavors.com after finding current online wedding favor suppliers dull and selling poor quality. After loooking on the Yahoo! keyword selector tool, she noticed that she was not the only one looking for wedding favors. In fact, there was thousands. After purchasing the domain name and buying a Yahoo! Merchant Solution storefront, Jennifer purchased some inventory from AmericasMart in Atlanta. She went on to have her own products manufactured in China and also started a wedding favor wholesale supply company called Kate Aspen.

In the first month of business, www.myweddingfavors.com did $10,000 in sales. In the second month, it did $30,000. Now in 2007, it’s doing almost $250,000 in sales per MONTH.
