September 28, ‘07

There’s a few different types of Internet Arbitrage.

1. The first one is Affiliate Arbitrage. This is where an affiliate sets up a landing page in attempt to sell an e-book or something similar. The visitor finds a site via PPC ads, then finds themself confronted with a salespage or “landing page” as they are called in the business. they have three choices. Buy the book, clicks a text ad, or leave the site.

2. The second kind is Shopping Arbitrage. This is where a site is set up to display competing prices from various stores. The links on the site send the shopper to the merchants page via affiliate links. A good example is Dealtime.com.

3. The third kind is PPC/Adsense Arbitrage. This is a wothless website with no content at all. It only has texts ads on it. The site owner draws in visitors with low paying keywords, and attempt to get the visitor to click on the higher paying ads on the web page. The site owner makes a profit on the difference. It’s high risk, put can pay well if executed properly.

4. The fourth kind is Arbitrage 2.0. This is just like the PPC/Adsense Arbitrage, but the site will contain a small amount of content. These type of sites are what most people think of when MFA (Made For Adsense) websites are mentioned.
